- 2 cups dried hibiscus flowers
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- 4 cups water
- 1–2 tablespoons honey or sugar (optional)
- Lime slices
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a pot.
- Add the dried hibiscus flowers and grated ginger.
- Let it simmer for about 5-7 minutes.
- Remove from heat and strain the mixture into a pitcher.
- Add honey or sugar to taste, if desired.
- Allow the tea to cool, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Serve over ice with lime slices for garnish.
Notes
Adjust sweetness to your preference. Consider other fruits for added flavor. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3-5 days.
