Description

These High Protein Greek Yogurt Brownies are a guilt-free dessert delivering rich chocolate flavor and a protein punch. Perfect for snacks or post-workout.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup Greek yogurt (preferably Fage Total 0%)
  • 1 extra large egg (room temperature)
  • 1/2 cup cocoa powder
  • 1/2 cup protein powder (Optimum Nutrition Gold Standard whey recommended)
  • 1/4 cup coconut sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking powder

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F. Line an 8×8 inch baking dish with parchment paper or lightly grease it.
  2. Combine the room temperature egg, Greek yogurt, cocoa powder, protein powder, coconut sugar, and baking powder in a medium mixing bowl. Stir until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into your prepared pan, spreading it evenly with a spatula.
  4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
  5. Remove the brownies from the oven and let them cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting.

Notes

For extra flavor, lightly dust the warm brownies with a pinch of sea salt. Serve warm or at room temperature with Greek yogurt, fresh fruit, or honey.
