- 3 cups apples, diced
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 cup dates, chopped
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
- 1/2 cup pomegranate seeds
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon.
- In another bowl, cream together butter and sugar. Add eggs and mix well.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with honey.
- Fold in diced apples, chopped nuts, and dates.
- Pour the batter into a greased baking pan and bake for 30-40 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Let cool and serve. Optionally, drizzle with honey and garnish with pomegranate seeds.
