Description

A delicious and easy recipe featuring sweet and tangy honey BBQ chicken, perfect for family dinners and summer barbecues.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for grilling

Instructions

  1. Whisk together honey, barbecue sauce, soy sauce, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper to create the BBQ sauce.
  2. Marinate chicken breasts in the honey BBQ sauce for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight in the fridge.
  3. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
  4. Oil the grill grates lightly.
  5. Remove chicken from the marinade and grill for about 6-8 minutes per side or until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Brush with additional honey BBQ sauce during the last few minutes of cooking for a glossy finish.
  7. Serve hot, optionally over a mound of rice or alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

For more flavor, let the chicken marinate overnight. Use a meat thermometer to ensure proper cooking.
