- 1 prepared pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
- 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
- 12–16 oz hot Italian sausage (browned and drained)
- ¼–½ cup feta cheese (crumbled)
- Hot honey (drizzle to taste)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a pizza stone or steel inside.
- Roll, stretch, or spin your prepared pizza dough into a 12-inch round on a floured pizza peel.
- Spread the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
- Top the cheese with the browned sausage, spreading it evenly.
- Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the sausage.
- Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden, puffed, and the mozzarella is melted with browned spots.
- Remove the pizza from the oven, slice it, and drizzle hot honey liberally over the cut pizza.
Notes
Serve hot and fresh. Pair with a light salad or garlic bread. Store leftovers in an airtight container for 2-3 days.
