Description

Ingredients

  • 1 prepared pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella cheese
  • 12–16 oz hot Italian sausage (browned and drained)
  • ¼–½ cup feta cheese (crumbled)
  • Hot honey (drizzle to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C) with a pizza stone or steel inside.
  2. Roll, stretch, or spin your prepared pizza dough into a 12-inch round on a floured pizza peel.
  3. Spread the mozzarella cheese evenly over the dough.
  4. Top the cheese with the browned sausage, spreading it evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the crumbled feta cheese over the sausage.
  6. Bake the pizza for 10-15 minutes until the crust is golden, puffed, and the mozzarella is melted with browned spots.
  7. Remove the pizza from the oven, slice it, and drizzle hot honey liberally over the cut pizza.
