- 1 1/4 cups self-rising flour
- 1 1/4 cups Greek yogurt
- 2 tbsp butter (melted and cooled)
- 3 tsp garlic (freshly minced)
- 3 tsp Italian herbs
- 2 1/2 cups cheese (shredded mozzarella)
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 450°F.
- Combine the self-rising flour and Greek yogurt in a medium bowl, stirring until a shaggy dough forms.
- Transfer the dough onto a lightly greased 9×13 inch baking sheet, pressing it out to about 1/4 inch thickness.
- Drizzle the cooled melted butter evenly over the dough.
- Mix the minced garlic, Italian herbs, black pepper, and a pinch of salt in a small bowl.
- Sprinkle the seasoning mixture over the dough, then top with shredded mozzarella cheese.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let the bread cool for 2-3 minutes, then cut into squares or strips and serve warm.
Notes
Best served warm with pasta, soup, or salad. Pairs well with marinara sauce.
