Description

A delicious and easy-to-make creamy dip featuring burrata, fresh tomatoes, and basil, perfect for any gathering.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 ball Burrata (alternatives: fresh mozzarella or whipped ricotta)
  • 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes (substitute: grape tomatoes)
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (alternatives: avocado oil)
  • 2 cloves Garlic (alternative: garlic powder)
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh Basil (substitutes: flat-leaf parsley or thyme)
  • 1/4 teaspoon Chili Flakes (adjust quantity to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon Additional Olive Oil (for drizzling)
  • 2 whole Basil Leaves (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing the tomatoes. Cut the cherry tomatoes in half and place them in a bowl.
  2. Add 2 tablespoons of olive oil to the tomatoes. Then, stir in the minced garlic, chopped fresh basil, and chili flakes. Mix everything gently to combine.
  3. Next, take the burrata and place it in the center of a serving dish.
  4. Spoon the tomato mixture over the burrata, spreading it evenly.
  5. Drizzle additional olive oil on top for an extra touch of flavor.
  6. Finally, garnish with the whole basil leaves for a beautiful presentation.

Notes

Let the burrata sit at room temperature for about 15-30 minutes before serving for a creamier texture.
