- 1 ball Burrata (alternatives: fresh mozzarella or whipped ricotta)
- 1 cup Cherry Tomatoes (substitute: grape tomatoes)
- 2 tablespoons Olive Oil (alternatives: avocado oil)
- 2 cloves Garlic (alternative: garlic powder)
- 1 tablespoon Fresh Basil (substitutes: flat-leaf parsley or thyme)
- 1/4 teaspoon Chili Flakes (adjust quantity to taste)
- 1 tablespoon Additional Olive Oil (for drizzling)
- 2 whole Basil Leaves (for garnish)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Place the cherry tomatoes in a baking dish. Drizzle with 2 tablespoons of olive oil and sprinkle with minced garlic (or garlic powder). Toss to coat the tomatoes well.
- Roast the tomatoes in the oven for about 20-25 minutes, or until they burst and brown slightly.
- Prepare the burrata by placing it in a serving bowl or platter.
- Remove the tomatoes from the oven and let them cool slightly.
- Pour the roasted tomatoes, along with their juices, over the burrata cheese.
- Sprinkle fresh basil, chili flakes, and drizzle additional olive oil on top.
- Garnish with the whole basil leaves before serving.
Notes
Serve warm with crusty bread, crackers, or fresh vegetable sticks. Pairs well with white wine for an enhanced experience.
