- 1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/3 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 4 large egg yolks
- 1 can (14 ounces) sweetened condensed milk
- 1/2 cup key lime juice
- 1 teaspoon lime zest
- 1 cup heavy whipping cream
- 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
- Lime slices, for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a medium bowl, mix the graham cracker crumbs, sugar, and melted butter until combined. Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of a 9-inch pie dish.
- Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool.
- In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the egg yolks, sweetened condensed milk, key lime juice, and lime zest until smooth.
- Pour the filling into the cooled crust and spread evenly.
- Bake for an additional 15 minutes, then let cool to room temperature.
- Refrigerate for at least 2 hours before serving.
- In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until soft peaks form.
- Spread the whipped cream over the pie and garnish with lime slices before serving.

For best flavor, use fresh key limes and ensure the pie is well-chilled before serving.
