- 1 lb ground beef or pork
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 cup Korean BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup mayo
- 1–2 tbsp sriracha (for spicy mayo)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Combine ground beef or pork, breadcrumbs, green onions, egg, garlic, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, and black pepper in a mixing bowl.
- Form the mixture into small meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until cooked through and golden brown.
- Make the spicy mayo dip by mixing mayo with sriracha.
- Brush the meatballs with Korean BBQ sauce in the last few minutes of baking.
- Serve hot alongside the spicy mayo dip.
Notes
For a leaner option, substitute ground turkey or chicken. Experiment with different sauces for added flavor.
