- 4 chicken thighs
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 4 strips bacon, cooked and crumbled
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 tablespoon soy sauce (optional)
- Fresh herbs for garnish (e.g., parsley or thyme)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Mix together the maple syrup, minced garlic, soy sauce (if using), salt, and pepper in a small bowl.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.
- Season the chicken thighs with salt and pepper and sear them in the skillet for about 5 minutes on each side until golden brown.
- Place the seared chicken thighs in a baking dish and pour the maple garlic mixture over them.
- Sprinkle the crumbled bacon on top of the chicken.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.
Notes
For best flavor, marinate the chicken thighs in the maple garlic mixture for a few hours or overnight before searing.
