- 1 cup unsalted butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chopped toasted pecans
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a baking pan.
- Melt the butter in a saucepan over medium heat until golden brown and nutty.
- Remove from heat and let the butter cool slightly.
- Combine brown sugar and brown butter in a mixing bowl, then stir in eggs and vanilla until smooth.
- Whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl. Gradually mix this into the wet ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the chopped pecans.
- Pour the batter into the prepared pan and spread it evenly.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Whisk together maple syrup and powdered sugar for the glaze, then drizzle over the cooled blondies.
- Cut into squares and enjoy!
