Description

Delightful and cheesy breadsticks that are perfect for snacking, parties, or as a meal accompaniment.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 packet (2 1/4 teaspoons) active dry yeast
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Butter for brushing
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast; let it sit until bubbly.
  3. Combine flour, salt, garlic powder, mozzarella cheese, and Parmesan cheese in a large mixing bowl.
  4. Add the yeast mixture and olive oil; stir until a dough forms.
  5. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth.
  6. Roll out the dough and place it on a greased baking sheet.
  7. Cut the dough into strips and brush with melted butter.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
  10. Serve with marinara sauce.
