- 1 lb thick-cut bacon
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay the thick-cut bacon slices on the baking sheet.
- Brush each slice of bacon with maple syrup.
- Sprinkle a mixture of brown sugar, black pepper, and cayenne pepper over the bacon.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the bacon is caramelized and crisp.
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
