Description

Sweet, fluffy, and packed with banana flavor, these muffins are moist and perfect for cozy mornings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups All-Purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Ground Cinnamon (optional)
  • 3 medium Ripe Bananas
  • 1 cup Light Brown Sugar
  • 1/3 cup Unsalted Butter, melted
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Milk
  • 1/2 cup Chopped Nuts (optional)
  • 1/2 cup Chocolate Chips (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease it with butter.
  2. Mix together the flour, baking soda, salt, and ground cinnamon in a bowl. Set aside.
  3. Mash the ripe bananas until smooth in another bowl. Add the melted butter and mix well.
  4. Stir in the brown sugar, eggs, vanilla extract, and milk until combined.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture. Stir gently until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
  6. Fold in the chopped nuts and chocolate chips, if using.
  7. Divide the batter evenly into the muffin tin.
  8. Bake for 18-22 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  9. Let the muffins cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For the best flavor, use very ripe bananas. Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days or freeze for longer storage.
