Description

Deliciously nostalgic Peanut Butter Blossom Bars topped with chocolate kisses, easy to make and perfect for any occasion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup chocolate kisses, unwrapped

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. Combine the peanut butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  3. Whisk together flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add to the peanut butter mixture and mix until well combined.
  4. Spread the dough evenly in the prepared pan.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until lightly golden. Remove from the oven and let cool for 5 minutes.
  6. Press chocolate kisses into the surface of the bars. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a variation, try using natural or crunchy peanut butter. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week, or freeze for 2-3 months.
