Ingredients

- 3 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 1 cup peanut butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup honey or corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- A pinch of salt
Instructions
- Melt the Peanut Butter and Honey in a saucepan over medium heat, stirring until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and a pinch of salt, and mix well.
- Coat the Rice Krispies in a large bowl with the peanut butter mixture until evenly covered.
- Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch pan evenly, compacting it well.
- Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave or over a double boiler until smooth.
- Spread the melted chocolate over the Rice Krispies mixture in the pan.
- Cool for at least 30 minutes before cutting into bars and serving.
Notes
For a fun twist, sprinkle sea salt on top of the chocolate before it sets. Store in an airtight container for up to a week at room temperature.
