- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 ½ cups granulated sugar
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup milk
- ½ cup unsalted butter, softened
- 3 large eggs
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup grape or strawberry jelly
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the softened butter and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs, one at a time.
- Whisk together the flour and baking powder in a separate bowl.
- Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, alternating with the milk.
- Divide the batter evenly between two greased 9-inch round cake pans.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes, until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Cool the cakes in the pans for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
- Spread jelly on top of one cake layer and place the second layer on top.
- Beat together the powdered sugar, peanut butter, and milk for the frosting.
- Spread the peanut butter frosting over the cake.
- Slice and serve to your guests!
