Description

Delicious Pecan Pie Bars featuring a buttery crust and a sweet, gooey pecan filling, perfect for gatherings.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 cup corn syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9×9 inch baking dish.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the flour, butter, and granulated sugar until crumbly; press this mixture firmly into the bottom of the prepared baking dish to form a crust.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the brown sugar, corn syrup, eggs, vanilla extract, and salt until well combined, creating a luscious filling for your bars.
  4. Stir in the chopped pecans, making sure they are evenly distributed throughout the mixture before pouring it over the prepared crust.
  5. Place the dish in the preheated oven and bake for 30-35 minutes, or until the filling is set and the top is golden brown.
