Description

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
  2. Whisk together the flour, brown sugar, granulated sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Mix the melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract in another bowl until well combined.
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir just until combined.
  5. Fold in the chopped pecans gently.
  6. Divide the batter evenly among the muffin cups.
  7. Bake for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  8. Allow to cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
