Description

A scrumptious dish featuring duck legs glazed with a sweet and tangy combination of pomegranate and orange juices.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 duck legs
  • 1 cup pomegranate juice
  • 1/2 cup orange juice
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon ground ginger
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh pomegranate seeds and orange slices for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix together the pomegranate juice, orange juice, honey, soy sauce, ginger, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place the duck legs in a roasting pan and pour the glaze over the top.
  4. Bake in the oven for about 60 minutes, basting every 20 minutes, until the duck is cooked through and the skin is crispy.
  5. Garnish with fresh pomegranate seeds and orange slices before serving.

Notes

Baste regularly to keep the duck moist. For extra crispy skin, increase oven heat to 400°F (200°C) during the last 15 minutes.
