Description

Ingredients

  • 1 cup rice vinegar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon soy sauce

Instructions

  1. Slice the red onion thinly and place it in a jar.
  2. In a saucepan, combine rice vinegar, water, sugar, salt, and soy sauce.
  3. Heat the mixture until the sugar and salt dissolve.
  4. Pour the hot mixture over the onions in the jar.
