Description

A delightful sandwich featuring layers of corned beef, Swiss cheese, and sauerkraut, grilled to perfection on rye bread.


Ingredients

  • 8 oz corned beef
  • 4 slices Swiss cheese
  • 1 cup sauerkraut
  • 4 tbsp creamy dressing (such as Thousand Island)
  • 4 slices rye bread
  • 4 tbsp butter (for grilling)

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat.
  2. Butter one side of each slice of rye bread.
  3. On the unbuttered side, layer corned beef, Swiss cheese, sauerkraut, and creamy dressing.
  4. Top with another slice of rye bread, buttered side up.
  5. Grill until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  6. Serve hot with pickles or fries.
