Description

A fun and delightful twist on the classic chocolate chip cookie, combining chewy cookies with crispy Rice Krispies.


Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 cups rolled oats
  • 2 cups Rice Krispies
  • 12 cups chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth.
  3. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs one at a time.
  4. Mix together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda in another bowl.
  5. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet ingredients and stir until well combined.
  6. Fold in the rolled oats, Rice Krispies, and chocolate chips until evenly distributed.
  7. Drop spoonfuls of the cookie dough onto a parchment-lined baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie.
  8. Bake for about 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  9. Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
