Description

A delightful treat that pairs the sweetness of roasted pears with the tangy creaminess of goat cheese and a rich maple walnut drizzle.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Pears
  • 1 cup Creamy goat cheese
  • 1/2 cup Maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup Walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons Olive oil
  • Salt to taste
  • Pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Cut the pears in half and scoop out the seeds.
  3. Drizzle olive oil over the pears and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
  4. Place the pears cut side down on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender.
  5. In a small saucepan, heat maple syrup until warm, then stir in walnuts.
  6. When pears are done, place on a plate, add a piece of goat cheese on each half, and drizzle with the maple walnut mixture.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Choose ripe but firm pears for the best texture. Substitute walnuts with pecans or almonds for variation.
