A delightful treat that pairs the sweetness of roasted pears with the tangy creaminess of goat cheese and a rich maple walnut drizzle.

- 4 Pears
- 1 cup Creamy goat cheese
- 1/2 cup Maple syrup
- 1/2 cup Walnuts
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the pears in half and scoop out the seeds.
- Drizzle olive oil over the pears and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Place the pears cut side down on a baking sheet and roast for 20-25 minutes until tender.
- In a small saucepan, heat maple syrup until warm, then stir in walnuts.
- When pears are done, place on a plate, add a piece of goat cheese on each half, and drizzle with the maple walnut mixture.
- Serve warm and enjoy!
Notes
Choose ripe but firm pears for the best texture. Substitute walnuts with pecans or almonds for variation.
