- 1 1/2 pounds boneless steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- 1/4 cup soy sauce or coconut aminos
- 2 tablespoons sugar-free brown sweetener
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon ginger paste
- 2 tablespoons avocado oil
- 1 teaspoon toasted sesame seeds
Instructions
- Slice the steak very thinly using a sharp knife, aiming for about 1/8 inch thick slices.
- Combine the soy sauce (or coconut aminos), sugar-free brown sweetener, sesame oil, minced garlic, and ginger paste in a large bowl.
- Add the thinly sliced steak into the marinade, tossing it thoroughly to coat every piece.
- Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and let it marinate in the refrigerator for at least 2 hours.
- Heat 1 tablespoon of avocado oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Cook the marinated steak in batches, ensuring even cooking.
- Transfer cooked steak to a plate and keep warm, adding more oil as needed.
- Garnish with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
