- 500 g mussels (cleaned and debearded; discard any unopened)
- 4 cloves garlic (minced; fresh is recommended, can substitute with garlic powder)
- 1 cup heavy cream (use half-and-half for a lighter option)
- 1/2 cup white wine (can substitute with vegetable broth)
- 2 tablespoons butter (or use olive oil as a healthier alternative)
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley (chopped; can substitute with basil)
- 1 lemon juiced and zested (can substitute with lime)

Instructions
- Melt the butter (or olive oil) in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Pour in the white wine and let it simmer for a few minutes to reduce slightly.
- Add the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer.
- Add the shrimp and mussels to the skillet. Cook for about 5-7 minutes until the shrimp are pink and the mussels have opened.
- Stir in the lemon juice and zest, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Finish by adding the chopped parsley and give it a gentle stir.
