Description

A fun and tasty twist on traditional burgers served in a bowl, perfect for a lighter meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • 3 medium Red Potatoes
  • 1 cup Onions
  • 1 cup Shredded Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Mayo
  • 2 tbsp Ketchup
  • 1 tbsp Mustard
  • 1 tbsp Cajun Seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Pickles
  • 1 cup Lettuce

Instructions

  1. Start by washing and cutting the red potatoes into small cubes. Boil them in water until tender, about 10-15 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  2. In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat. Season it with Cajun seasoning as it cooks.
  3. In another pan, caramelize the onions until golden brown, which takes about 10 minutes.
  4. Mix the mayo, ketchup, and mustard in a small bowl to create your sauce.
  5. In a large bowl, layer the cooked potatoes at the bottom.
  6. Add the cooked ground beef on top of the potatoes.
  7. Spoon the caramelized onions over the beef.
  8. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top and then add pickles and lettuce.
  9. Drizzle your sauce over the entire bowl. Toss gently to combine if you like.

Notes

For a creamier texture, you can add more mayo or even a splash of sour cream. Experiment with different toppings like avocado, jalapeños, or even a fried egg.
