Description

A harmonious blend of textures and flavors with shredded Brussels sprouts, toasted hazelnuts, and a zing of lemon juice.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups Brussels sprouts, finely shredded
  • 1 cup hazelnuts, toasted and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon pepper
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup Parmesan cheese (optional)

Instructions

  1. Finely shred the Brussels sprouts using a knife or a food processor.
  2. Toast hazelnuts in a pan over medium heat until golden brown, then cool and chop roughly.
  3. In a large bowl, combine the shredded Brussels sprouts, toasted hazelnuts, olive oil, salt, pepper, and lemon juice.
  4. Toss everything together until the sprouts are well coated.
  5. If desired, sprinkle with Parmesan cheese before serving.
