Description

A quick and easy family favorite featuring tender meatballs and a rich gravy, perfect over mashed potatoes or rice.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 can of cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 packet of onion soup mix
  • 1 cup beef broth

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix together the ground beef, breadcrumbs, chopped onion, egg, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper. Form the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in size.
  2. Place the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  3. In a separate bowl, combine the cream of mushroom soup, onion soup mix, and beef broth. Mix well and pour over the meatballs in the slow cooker.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 360 minutes, or on high for 240 minutes, until the meatballs are cooked through and tender.
  5. Once finished, serve hot with your favorite sides.

Notes

For extra flavor, add garlic powder or herbs like thyme to the meat mixture. For a thicker gravy, mix a tablespoon of cornstarch with water and stir it in during the last 30 minutes of cooking.
