Description

A delightful dessert perfect for a small gathering, made with fresh or canned peaches and topped with a fluffy biscuit layer.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups peaches (fresh or canned)
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or nutmeg (optional)
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Combine the peaches, sugar, and optional spices in a bowl, and pour into a small baking dish.
  3. Mix the flour, baking powder, and salt in another bowl.
  4. Stir in the melted butter and milk until just combined.
  5. Pour the biscuit batter over the peach filling.
