A quick and easy microwave dessert featuring fluffy cake and sweet strawberries.
Ingredients

- 2 tbsp butter (preferably unsalted)
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1/8 tsp salt
- 2 strawberries (diced into 1/4-inch pieces)
- 4 tbsp milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1/8 tsp ground cinnamon
Instructions
- Dice the strawberries into small, even 1/4-inch pieces.
- Place the butter in a microwave-safe mug and microwave for 20-30 seconds until melted.
- Tilt the mug to coat the sides and bottom with melted butter.
- Combine the flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and cinnamon in the mug.
- Add the milk and vanilla extract, folding everything together until just combined.
- Gently fold in the diced strawberries.
- Microwave on high for 90 seconds to 2 minutes, checking at the 90-second mark.
- Let the mug cool for 1 minute before eating.
Notes
Top with whipped cream, vanilla ice cream, or chocolate syrup if desired. Best eaten fresh.
