- 8 oz pasta (penne or fettuccine)
- 1 lb chicken breast, diced
- 2 tbsp Cajun seasoning
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup honey
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the diced chicken and season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper. Cook until the chicken is browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low and stir in the heavy cream and honey. Cook for another 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Add the cooked pasta to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.
- Garnish with chopped parsley before serving.
Notes
For added veggies, you can toss in some spinach or bell peppers during the cooking process. Customize the protein by adding shrimp or sausage.
