Ingredients

  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Burger buns
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato slices
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha sauce
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Season your chicken breasts with paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Coat the chicken in buttermilk.
  4. Dredge the buttermilk-dipped chicken in breadcrumbs.
  5. Bake the chicken for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Whisk together the mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lemon juice.
  7. Assemble the sandwiches with toasted buns, lettuce, tomato, and chicken, drizzled with the sauce.

Notes

Adjust the spice level with cayenne pepper. Panko breadcrumbs can be used for extra crunch.
