Description

A delicious fusion of bulgogi beef and spicy kimchi served in a cheesy hoagie roll.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb beef (preferably ribeye or sirloin), thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup bulgogi sauce
  • 1 cup kimchi, chopped
  • 4 slices provolone cheese or cheese of choice
  • 4 hoagie rolls
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1/2 onion, sliced
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Marinate the sliced beef in bulgogi sauce for at least 15 minutes.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add sliced onions and bell peppers, sautéing until tender.
  3. Add the marinated beef to the skillet and cook until browned and cooked through.
  4. Stir in the chopped kimchi and cook for an additional 2-3 minutes.
  5. Divide the beef mixture among hoagie rolls, topping each with a slice of cheese.
  6. Serve immediately while hot.

Notes

For extra tenderness, slice the beef against the grain. Let the beef marinate longer for enhanced flavor. You can add other vegetables or opt for different meats.
