Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Cut the russet potatoes into thin fries or wedges.
  3. Toss the cut fries with olive oil until evenly coated.
  4. Mix together paprika, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, oregano, salt, and black pepper in a separate bowl.
  5. Sprinkle the seasoning mix over the fries and toss until all fries are coated.
  6. Spread the seasoned fries in a single layer on a baking sheet.
  7. Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden brown and crispy.
  8. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.

Notes

For extra crispiness, soak the cut potatoes in water for 30 minutes before baking. Adjust the spice level according to your taste.
