Description

A delightful dessert combining fluffy cake, creamy swirls, and fresh strawberries for a flavor explosion.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 box cake mix (any flavor)
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup fresh strawberries, sliced
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3 large eggs

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking pan to ensure your dessert comes out effortlessly.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together the cake mix, water, vegetable oil, and eggs until everything is well combined.
  3. In another bowl, mix the softened cream cheese and sugar until the mixture is velvety smooth.
  4. Drop generous spoonfuls of the cream cheese mixture over the cake batter in the pan. Using a butter knife, gently swirl the mixture into the cake batter.
  5. Scatter the sliced strawberries generously on top of the batter.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  7. Once baked, let your Strawberry Earthquake Dessert cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Pairs beautifully with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Store leftovers covered in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
