Description

A delightful blend of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors, this slaw adds a nice crunch to any meal and works perfectly as a side dish or sandwich topping.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 cups Green Cabbage (shredded)
  • 1 cup Carrots (grated)
  • 0.5 cup Dill Pickles (chopped)
  • 0.25 cup Red Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 0.5 cup Mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
  • 2 tablespoons Sriracha Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey (preferably local)
  • 1 tablespoon Apple Cider Vinegar

Instructions

  1. Start by preparing your vegetables. Shred the green cabbage, grate the carrots, chop the dill pickles, and slice the red onion.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrots, chopped dill pickles, and sliced red onion.
  3. In a separate small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt), Sriracha sauce, honey, and apple cider vinegar. Stir until smooth and well combined.
  4. Pour the dressing over the vegetable mixture and toss everything together until the vegetables are evenly coated.
  5. Cover the bowl and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving. This will allow the flavors to meld together.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider adding some chopped nuts or seeds. If you prefer a milder flavor, reduce the amount of Sriracha sauce. Feel free to mix in other vegetables like bell peppers or celery for additional texture and taste.
