Ingredients

- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 ½ tbsp taco seasoning mix
- ½ cup water
- ½ cup salsa con queso
- 3 8-inch tortillas (flour or corn)
- 2 cups shredded cheese (Mexican blend or cheddar)
- Sour cream (for serving)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat oil over medium heat and brown the ground beef until fully cooked.
- Stir in taco seasoning and water; simmer for 2-3 minutes before adding salsa con queso.
- Spray an 8-inch round baking tin with cooking spray.
- Layer one tortilla in the tin, followed by a third of the beef mixture and cheese. Repeat twice more, finishing with cheese on top.
- Bake for about 20 minutes or until cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow to cool slightly before serving with sour cream.
Notes
Customize with your favorite toppings such as avocado slices, diced tomatoes, or chopped cilantro.
