Description

A creamy, spice-kissed dish combining Alfredo sauce and Cajun spices for a comforting meal.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb chicken breast, diced
  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups chicken broth
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 bell pepper, diced
  • 2 garlic cloves, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the chicken by heating olive oil in a large pot, adding diced chicken, and seasoning it. Sauté until golden brown, then remove.
  2. Sauté the vegetables in the same pot for 2-3 minutes until soft and fragrant.
  3. Combine the orzo pasta and toast it slightly with the vegetables for 1-2 minutes.
  4. Add the chicken broth, bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
  5. Create the sauce by stirring in heavy cream and Parmesan until melted and creamy.
  6. Return the chicken to the pot and combine with the orzo, letting flavors meld for a few more minutes.
  7. Final touch: Adjust seasoning and garnish with parsley.

Notes

Marinate chicken in Cajun seasoning for extra flavor. Customize with additional vegetables or switch proteins as desired.
