Ingredients

- 2 slices of bread
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
- 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
- A few slices of pepperoni
- Pizza sauce for dipping
Instructions
- Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
- Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a frying pan over medium heat.
- Layer mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on top.
- Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
- Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
- Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
- Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.
Notes
Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters for easy dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within two days.
