Description

A delicious fusion of grilled cheese and pizza flavors, perfect for a quick lunch or snack.


Ingredients

  • 2 slices of bread
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter (softened)
  • 2 slices of mozzarella cheese
  • A few slices of pepperoni
  • Pizza sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Spread softened butter on one side of each slice of bread.
  2. Place one slice of bread, butter-side down, in a frying pan over medium heat.
  3. Layer mozzarella cheese and pepperoni on top.
  4. Top with the second slice of bread, butter-side up.
  5. Cook until the bottom is golden brown, about 3-4 minutes.
  6. Carefully flip the sandwich and cook the other side until golden and the cheese is melted.
  7. Serve with warm pizza sauce for dipping.

Notes

Cut the sandwich into halves or quarters for easy dipping. Store leftovers in an airtight container and consume within two days.
