Description

A comforting and delicious sandwich made with leftover turkey, crispy bacon, and creamy Mornay sauce, perfect for any meal.


Ingredients

  • 4 slices of bread
  • 2 cups cooked turkey, sliced
  • 4 slices crispy bacon
  • 1 cup Mornay sauce
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (such as Gruyère or Swiss)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  3. Layer the toasted bread in a baking dish, then add sliced turkey on top of each slice.
  4. Drizzle Mornay sauce over the turkey and top with crispy bacon.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the entire dish.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot.
