Description

A refreshing and light watermelon sorbet made with just two ingredients: watermelon and coconut water.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup cubed watermelon
  • 1 cup coconut water

Instructions

  1. Cut off the rind of your watermelon and chop it into cubes.
  2. Fill a Ninja Creami pint container with diced watermelon up to the max fill line. You can mash the watermelon a bit with a fork or blend it with the coconut water in a blender.
  3. Pour coconut water into the cup up to the max fill line.
  4. Add the lid and place the pint in the freezer on a level surface overnight, for 12-24 hours.
  5. When you are ready to spin, microwave the pint for 30 seconds or run the outside under hot water for a couple of minutes.
  6. Add the pint to the Ninja Creami machine and spin on the sorbet setting.
  7. If the sorbet is a little dry or chunky after the first spin, you can re-spin it for a smoother, creamier texture.

Notes

For best flavor, choose ripe watermelon. Garnish with fresh mint leaves when serving.
