Description

Delicious meatballs made with whiskey, peach preserves, and BBQ sauce, perfect for gatherings and family dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground beef or pork
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup whiskey
  • 1/4 cup peach preserves
  • 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp paprika
  • 1/2 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for frying)

Instructions

  1. Combine ground meat, breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, whiskey, peach preserves, salt, pepper, paprika, and chili powder in a large bowl. Mix until well combined.
  2. Form the mixture into small meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add meatballs and cook for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally until browned on all sides and cooked through.
  4. Mix BBQ sauce with any remaining peach preserves in a separate bowl.
  5. Pour the sauce over the meatballs in the skillet and simmer for another 5 minutes.
  6. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

These meatballs can also be served on a platter with toothpicks or paired with rice or mashed potatoes.
