Description

Delightful white chocolate truffles with zesty orange flavor, perfect for sharing or personal indulgence.


Ingredients

  • 8 ounces White Chocolate
  • 8 ounces Cream Cheese, softened
  • 1 tablespoon Orange Zest, fresh
  • 1 teaspoon Orange Extract (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 1 tablespoon Orange Sanding Sugar
  • 2 ounces Melted White Chocolate, for coating

Instructions

  1. Melt the white chocolate in a microwave-safe bowl until smooth.
  2. Mix the cream cheese in a large bowl until smooth.
  3. Combine the melted white chocolate, orange zest, orange extract, vanilla extract, and salt; mix well.
  4. Add the powdered sugar gradually, mixing until smooth.
  5. Chill the mixture in the refrigerator for about one hour until firm.
  6. Shape small portions of the mixture into balls.
  7. Coat each ball in melted white chocolate, shaking off excess.
  8. Finish with orange sanding sugar while the chocolate is still wet.
  9. Set the truffles on a parchment-lined baking sheet until chocolate hardens.

Store truffles in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to two weeks. Bring to room temperature before serving.
