- 1 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Vegetable oil or beef drippings
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Whisk together the flour and salt in a bowl.
- Combine the milk and eggs in another bowl, then beat until well mixed.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and whisk until smooth.
- Pour about 1 tablespoon of oil or drippings into each compartment of a muffin tin.
- Place the muffin tin in the oven for about 5 minutes, until the oil is hot.
- Carefully pour the batter into the muffin tin, filling each compartment about halfway.
- Bake for 20-25 minutes, until the puddings are puffed and golden brown.
- Serve immediately with roast beef and gravy.
