A delicious and comforting ground beef rice casserole perfect for busy weeknights or family gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs Ground beef
  • 1/4 tsp Garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp Onion powder
  • 1 can Cream of mushroom soup, condensed
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups White rice, cooked
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1.5 cups Cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup Milk

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Brown the ground beef in a large skillet over medium heat until it’s fully cooked. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the garlic powder, onion powder, cream of mushroom soup, Worcestershire sauce, cooked rice, milk, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until well combined.
  4. Transfer this mixture to a greased 9×13-inch baking dish and sprinkle the cheddar cheese on top.
  5. Bake for about 25-30 minutes or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.

Notes

For added flavor, try different types of cheese or include vegetables like peas or corn in the mix. You can also make a vegetarian version using lentils.
