Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup + 1 tablespoon milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon hazelnut chocolate spread or mini chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the dry ingredients: flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, sugar, and salt.
  2. Add the wet ingredients—milk and vegetable oil—and mix until smooth.
  3. Pour the batter into a microwave-safe mug (14 ounces) and leave room for rising.
  4. Add chocolate spread or mini chocolate chips in the center without pushing them down.
  5. Microwave on high for 70 seconds (adjust as needed based on your microwave).
