Description

Soft and fluffy cinnamon rolls filled with the irresistible flavors of Biscoff cookie butter and spiced filling, perfect for breakfast or dessert.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/4 teaspoons instant yeast
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup warm milk
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/2 cup Biscoff cookie butter
  • 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for icing)
  • 12 tablespoons milk (for icing)

Instructions

  1. Combine the flour, granulated sugar, yeast, and salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, mix the warm milk, melted butter, and egg. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients and knead until smooth.
  2. Let the dough rise in a warm place until it doubles in size, about 60 minutes.
  3. Roll out the dough into a rectangle. Spread the Biscoff cookie butter over the surface and sprinkle with cinnamon and brown sugar.
  4. Roll the dough tightly and slice it into rolls. Place the rolls in a greased baking dish.
  5. Let the rolls rise again for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Whisk together the powdered sugar and milk for icing until smooth and drizzle over warm rolls before serving.

Notes

For added flavor, customize the filling with nuts or chocolate chips, and consider a maple glaze instead of icing.
