Description

A fun and fresh twist on the classic BLT sandwich using lettuce instead of bread, making it light and low-carb.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large lettuce leaves
  • 8 slices of bacon
  • 1 medium tomato, sliced
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 4 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook the bacon until crispy in a skillet. Drain on paper towels.
  2. Mix mayonnaise and Dijon mustard in a small bowl to create the secret sauce.
  3. Lay lettuce leaves flat and spread a tablespoon of the sauce on each.
  4. Layer avocado, tomato slices, and crispy bacon on top of the sauce.
  5. Season with salt and pepper.
  6. Roll the lettuce leaf tightly to form a wrap.
  7. Serve immediately or refrigerate for a quick lunch option.

Notes

For extra crunch, consider adding sliced cucumbers or radishes. Prevent avocado from browning by squeezing lemon juice on it.
